Strawberry Day

Two weekends ago the kids and I started out our day picking strawberries bright and early. They had a great time and picked really well, especially since the ground was really wet and many of the strawberries were still so small. Abi spent most of her time eating the strawberries. Leah & Andrew really didn't eat any until I told them they could!

Later that evening our church had it's 2nd annual Strawberry Festival-- just a fun time to get together to play lawn games, fellowship, and eat strawberry shortcakes with ice cream. We invite the whole community as an outreach ministry. This year we didn't have a huge turn-out, but the weather was great, we had a lot of fun, and the kids played the whole time!
