Leah’s 10th Birthday

Its hard to believe I can have a kid with double digits! Leah has been so excited about this birthday for weeks! She planned out her party with all the details and who would come and what they would do, even what presents she hoped to get! Leah is always detail oriented, loves crafty things, Barbies, singing, drama, and dancing. She is into watching YouTube videos of young singers, or people making crafts, and loves to make up her own stories. She narrates her every day activities to herself and is always singing. She loves being with her friends and always wants to please them. I love seeing her grow in her faith as she memorizes her AWANA verses on her own will and even spends time reading the Bible on her own.

Her party was six girls from church and from our homeschool group. They played outside on the slip & slide and in the sprinkler, they had cake and opened presents, and just enjoyed being together.

Leah loves emojis and that was a really easy cake idea! She specifically requested red velvet with cream cheese frosting this year.

Everyone seemed to have a really good time. The weather was perfect, there was no arguing, and Leah enjoyed her birthday!
