I love Easter almost as much as Christmas (of course, I love the true meaning even more)! I try to make special memories for the kids, and I love seeing them get excited! Leah talked about painting eggs for days before we actually got to do it. She asked me every day the week before if it was Easter yet.
Leah wanted to dump them in the dye, get them out & move on. Andrew was a little more patient with his colors (with Daddy’s help, of course).
Abigail got her own eggs (plastic, of course). She was very interested in watching what was going on.
I wanted to try something different, so we used washable tempera paints to decorate a few eggs. It worked okay, but they didn’t turn out too pretty. They had fun at least!
The finished product. Not too creative, but we had fun!
Later that day, we decorated sugar cookies. Leah helped me bake them while Andrew napped and then they both got to frost their own. Really that just involved consuming almost an entire bowl-full of frosting, then eating a plain cookie.
My littlest bunny didn’t get a cookie, of course, but she looked cute in her Easter outfit.
